Meet the Mason’s
Why Us?
We are Trey and Rachael Mason. We have been married since 2016 and have a beautiful daughter, Claire. The call to plant a church together was burned on our hearts shortly after moving to our neighborhood in Sans Souci in 2023.
Rachael has been called to ministry since she was 20 years old, while interning at an inner-city ministry in Akron, Ohio. Since then, she has served as a worship, youth, and small group leader, as well as the Worship Pastor and on the preaching team at the Greenville Vineyard, and currently serves as a social work supervisor at Triune Mercy Center. She holds her Master’s in Social Work and is an ordained pastor through Vineyard USA.
Trey holds his degrees in Engineering and an MBA. His entrepreneurial skills, passion for healthy discipleship, and groovy bass playing will be invaluable assets as we plant together.
Why the Vineyard?
The first time we stepped into a Vineyard church we knew we were home. When we arrived in 2016, we were a month away from being married, living in Sunbury Ohio, looking for a church. It was at the Vineyard that we met the Holy Spirit and experienced powerful encounters with the Lord through intimate worship, Spirit-led prayer, and intentional community. It was the Vineyard that taught me (Rachael) that I am made in the image of God and shepherded me into the call God put on my life to pastor. It is through the Vineyard that we truly have gotten to taste and see His Goodness and be washed in His transformational Love. We aspire to create this same refuge and place of transformation in Sans Souci and look forward to meeting those who will call our Vineyard church, home. Learn more about the Vineyard here.
Why Sans Souci?
We moved into the Sans Souci neighborhood in July of 2023 in obedience to an invitation from God. Since moving here, we have been developing meaningful relationships with neighbors and it is evident that people are hungry for community, and their souls, along with ours, thirst desperately for Jesus. We are committed to partnering with Jesus in cultivating a multicultural, bilingual church community that reflects the rich diversity of our neighborhood and leads people to the Living Water.
